Black Hibiscus

10.02.2012 - 15:26 / Tags: Chinese painting

Black Hibiscus / 黑芙蓉, 2011 (371), 100 X 52 cm, ink and color on handmade rice paper

Spent all day taking photos of my new ink brush paintings, tweaking the photos, naming the paintings, putting them to Flickr, etc. My neck hurts, I need a massage!

Ok, Sasa, I have my hands, with a special oil massage, you just close your eyes, haha!
Maybe we could invent mental massage in the distance :)
I like how you handle the ink stains on paper, with skill and mastery.
What you do is that kind of stain, about which, one might think "how easy it is to do" but one who thinks this is very wrong!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your comment, you are always very friendly with me.
good and lovely weekend to you too ♫ ♥

Hello Sasa, You made me a question, and I forgot to answer, sorry. the illustration in which you ask me if is a digital collage, listen:
I cut out with scissors from a magazine, the figure of the blind walking and profile of the face, then I digitized in the scanner, I paste on a fabric, that I also scan, and wood, is a part of a old chair that I placed in the scanner with difficulty, then paste it all and that's the result haha :)
good weekend!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your comments!
And thanks for your explanation Roberto, that was a pretty complicated process! No wonder the result is so cool...
Yes, have to go and get that masseur today!

That is beautiful. I love these hibiscus. Those fragile, silky flowers, aren't they wonderful?
I think it is the national flower of Korea.
Take care of your neck!
